Today, I was interviewed for a report in the French national TV news (France 2, journal de 20H) about thepossibility of ressurecting ancient life forms like the mammoth. Difficult to go through the issue in 3′, so that in the end, through the cuts, I manage to say that we can’t do it and it…
I took part to the shooting of a french documentary (52′) entitled “Archéologues de l’ADN” directed by François-Xavier Busnel for Chromatiques Editions. Scenes were shot during the autopsy of baby mammoth Khroma, held in Le Puy-en-Velay (France) in August 2010. After TV broadcast, it was released in DVD today.
Here is another Russian TV report of our field mission on Wrangel Island between August and September. You’ll see us dig out one of the two large complete tusks we found on our first hunt day. Don’t expect me to do the translation. I hope their comments are not too nasty against us!
Here is the first TV report about our recent expedition on Wrangel Island, by Russian media who joined us there. A quite long report that lets you appreciate the scenery and the sort of shoe-gazing-wanders-kind-of-work we had there.
