I am an evolutionary biologist working at the interface of ancient DNA, morpho-anatomy, and phylogeography. So far, my work has been mostly dedicated to mammals in general and to the family of the elephants in particular. Elephant Stone is a website dedicated to my interdisciplinary approach of research.

Gaël, Marc and I have been pretty busy talking with SAIAB and Isimangaliso Reserve about our current project on coelacanths. That offered us a nice trip in South African lands. If everything works through, I should be able to let you know more about it soon.
